MAGIC PLANET

The project brief called for a family-friendly, ‘pop-up’ activation that embodied Magic Planet’s brand values. I was tasked with expanding and developing Zak, Zia and Max further, giving them voices, original songs and signature dance moves. A redesigned style guide and updated poses were created for each character so they could be rendered into CGI assets and used in marketing. For guests to learn and engage with these characters, short mall shows were produced as an introduction to the Magic Planet brand and the character family. A dedicated rehearsal process was implemented to ensure the characters were brought to life by the in-house teams of hosts across multiple family entertainment centres.
